My daughter used the recorder to record children's books. She is delighted with it and finds it easy to use.
I am a Sweet Adeline and I use this recorder to record my individual voice within the chorus. It is easy to use, has good sound quality, and also picks up the whole chorus and the director as she talks to the chorus. Two other chorus members purchased this recorder after I had used mine and liked it.
The speaker just didn't do the job. I didn't care for the sound quality at all of this recorder. Sounded like a kids toy. It also needs a tape counter of some kind. Very hard to find points on the tape that you might want to go back to.
Product arrived in specified time, not as quick as I would have liked. Sound quality is excellent, really, and its easy to use. brand new. I have no complaints with how it works. Just a warning - I have used this model before, and after awhile, it stops working. I know, I know - its time to upgrade to the newer technology.
Well it would pick up my wisper at 25 feet and I could hear it clearly with no distortion from the motor. Distance and low audio sounds(like wispers) 1st thing I noticed was that the sound of the recorders small motor came through loudly on the tape. Just bought a TMC-200DV.when I got it I ran some test on the recording. That made me very happy except now I have to invest in another external Mic. I was not happy with this. So I got my little RCA standing Mic out(omnie directional) and redid the testing. Over all the recorder does well and I would recomend it to people who just wish to record simple things without a external mic. But for good sound you have to invest in another Mic.good luck
